Dear Teachers,
I failed to mention at our workshop yesterday that if you want people to have the ability to post comments on your blog, you must adjust your privacy settings. Go to your "dashboard" and redirect to "settings". Here, you can click the appropriate spaces that will allow users to be able to post comments on your blog.

New Blogs for Teachers!
I am so excited to see all the new blogs my fellow teachers have put together for the upcoming school year. It is awesome! I think some of them surprised themselves with how easy it is to make a blog. I am also absolutely loving the names of the blogs. So creative!! Here are the links to ones that have been created so far.

Teacher Appreciation Week, May 2-6
During the week of May 2-6, we will be celebrating the efforts, love and dedication that our teachers give to us throughout the school year. Each day focuses on a different theme that should be fun for your child and of little cost. Please remember our wonderful Coach, librarian, gifted teacher, reading coach and others who may help your child on a daily basis.
Monday 2nd--"Teachers are Sweet"
Bring your teacher one sweet piece of candy. This will make them "extra sweet".
Tuesday 3rd--"Thanks for Helping Us Grow"
Bring your teacher one flower from your yard or the store. Together, the flowers will make a beautiful bouquet.
Wednesday 4th--"Shout Out"
Students can write a short story or poem for their teachers.
Thursday 5th--"Giving Back Day"
Students can bring one school supply item for their classroom. This can be a box of crayons, glue stick or pack of paper, etc.
Friday 6th--"Apple of My Eye"
Students will receive one red paper apple from Ms. Head. They will describe their teacher in just a few words. Help them think of special words and send it back to school on Friday.
**If you have any questions, please feel free to call Ms. Head at 256-315-5450
