Saw a great idea in Debbie Diller's Math Stations book that I thought I'd share. Using that foam shelf liner/drawer liner material keeps manipulatives in place while students are working. It is especially helpful when using rolling dice.

In LOVE with "Pinterest"
If you haven't already discovered "Pinterest"......check it out! It is the organizational tool I've been dreaming of. You organize your "thoughts" by "pinning" photographs to different online collections. Say you're reading someone's blog and they post a picture of an organizational tool or picture of their classroom activities that you want to remember. All you do is "pin" the picture to your board. You can organize your boards any way you want and the pinned picture provides a "linkback" to the site where the picture is. AWESOME! No more making lists of links for me! And, you can share your pins on facebook and twitter. Happy, happy, hap-py! http://www.pinterest.com
